Alexandria Curacao

by Steven J. Serafiani

We stood in front of the mirror
you tied my tie from behind
“there” you said with such love, such elegance
your hands slid softly and
caressed my cotton shoulders
you tilted your head in your red dress and
put your earring in
oh that red dress, that red dress
I admired every second of your reflection

I want to be a denizen in your grace
slide my arm around your trim
commute in your hips
do you know how lovely you are?
many a muse under many a moon cannot compete
you are the fountain in my courtyard
the flower in my centerpiece
I want to take you to the vineyards of Burgundy
just so the grapes can indulge and drink you in.
