I looked over to my left,
peered through two panes,
your bug eyes shooting a line,
blonde hair pecking your neck,
I gave a side sly smile,
your bright whites giving the sun fits,
we both looked quickly to the light,
I mouthed a corny “Hi”,
you twirled your silk,
we both enjoyed the last gasp of summer,
love at first short sight,
an axiom,
then a quick honk,
you looked up,
the rubber in front pacing the pack,
one quick glance and then you were gone,
fucking green light,
my first time foe.
